Solid Core Doors

Solid core doors are made with internal 35mm wide pine timber stile / rail with particleboard core.

A selection of door facings dependant on the finish required can be applied.

Facings include:

4.75mm / 6mm Raw MDF
3.6mm Weatherproof Ply
3.2mm / 6mm HMR MDF
Timber Veneers
Laminates

Door finish thickness is dependent on the chosen facing and core thickness.

All Solid Core Flush Panel Doors contain a particleboard core manufactured to AS2688. The frames are constructed from pine for additional strength. A standard size solid door weighs approximately 27kg. Solid core doors are typically 38mm thick but can be produced to custom requirements.

Semi Solid Core Doors

All Semi Solid Internal Flush Panel Doors contain a durable cardboard core and are constructed with a pine frame with additional top and bottom rails.

Two Lock Blocks centred at 1000mm from the bottom of the door are added to both stiles. A standard size door weighs approximately 17kg.
